Constructed in the 1980s, the Manor House at Great Marsh Estate stood as a historical re-creation of a traditional Georgian Manor House. This estate served as a private residence for many years. But transitioned into a wedding venue in 2018.
The Stables reception hall was initially built in the 1800s and has preserved wooden beams and rustic architecture that were protected during the 2017 renovations. But, modern amenities added include air conditioning and heat, bathrooms, a catering kitchen, bistro lighting, and a lounge area.

The Great Marsh Estate is surrounded by natural beauty. The venue features 120 acres of lawn and woodland and is conveniently located just an hour from Washington, DC.
The Great Marsh Estate can host weddings of up to 200 guests. The venue includes a lovely bridal suite and fun groom’s lounge, as well as the use of the master suite, south lawn, south courtyard, north courtyard, and stable. The Manor House’s second-floor rooms make a spacious, picturesque backdrop for getting-ready photos. Meanwhile, guests can mingle on the first level and the groomsmen play pool and relax in the groom’s suite.

The Great Marsh Estate is a wedding photographer’s dream. The mansion’s luxurious bridal suite features large mirrors, twelve-foot ceilings, and bright lighting, the perfect backdrop for getting-ready photos.

Catering is provided exclusively by Serendipity Catering, whose experienced chef helps couples design a custom wedding menu that suits their unique taste. Couples can provide a wedding cake or dessert from outside vendors. Parking and wheelchair accessibility are available.
Events include bar services, catering services, all-inclusive packages, and the ability to use outside vendors. The venue also provides altars and arches, barware, chairs, china, a dance floor, decor, flatware, furniture, glassware, lighting, linens, and tables.
