About The King Family Vineyard Wedding Venue
As its name suggests, King Family Vineyard is a family-owned farm and winery in Crozet, Virginia that produces an array of delicious wines. Including Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and many more. Since 2002, they’ve been inviting guests from far and wide to visit their vineyard and taste their wines. In 2007, they built The Carriage House, their beautiful event space. They’ve been hosting gorgeous weddings and events ever since.

Details of the Grounds
From the time you spend getting ready for your wedding day to your romantic sendoff at the end of the night, there is a space for every part of your wedding at King Family Vineyard.
First, the Dressing Suite provides a spacious and well-lit space with plenty of mirrors. So the bride and her wedding party will comfortably prepare for the ceremony. The groom and his party can settle into the cozy Lounge. A private and tucked-away space that is perfect for suiting up, enjoying a pre-ceremony drink, and kicking back to watch something on the flat screen tv.
The most popular ceremony space is the outdoor Lawn that surrounds the Carriage House. It offers sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the King Family farm. With rolling green hills and pastoral fencing, it’s a gorgeous and bucolic backdrop for a romantic ceremony, regardless of the season. The spring and summer bring a spectrum of rich green hues, and in the fall, the trees on the mountains are decked in autumnal colors that are as cozy as they are beautiful.
The Carriage House
The Carriage House is perfect for an indoor reception. Plus, with enough room to accommodate up to 200 guests, it’s enough for all of your closest friends and family. The North Gallery is adjacent to the main room of the Carriage House. Perfect for hosting cocktail hour and bar services throughout the evening. Then, when it’s time for the main event, transition into the main room with opulent chandeliers made of barrel staves, exposed wood beams on the ceiling, and a large stone fireplace that adds to the comfortable country aesthetic. It’s also a great spot for an indoor ceremony in colder months. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to flip the space while your guests are enjoying cocktail hour.
A few other bonus spaces included with a King Family Vineyard wedding include The Fire Pit just outside the Carriage House, perfect for guests to gather after dinner for s’mores and socializing.
If you’re looking for a more intimate space for a smaller reception or even a rehearsal dinner, The Pavilion has plenty of rustic charm and can host up to 80 guests. Wedding Details
When you reserve your wedding at King Family Vineyard, you’ll have use of the Dressing Suite, the Lounge, the Carriage House, and the outdoor fire pit. Your wedding will include 200 chairs for the ceremony (your choice of white or natural wood), 200 dining chairs for the reception, tables, and a facility manager for the duration of your event.
For catering, King Family Vineyard has a fairly large list of required caterers that you can choose from. King Family Vineyards is the only wine you can serve, but they’ll give you a 15% discount on their selections as an added bonus!
While their team will help you figure out how you can best use their property for the wedding of your dreams, you may want to consider hiring an outside wedding coordinator or manager to help take care of details and setup so you can focus on being present throughout your wedding.
