Details of the Grounds
You’ll exclusively use one of Herrington on the Bay’s two unique venues throughout your wedding. The first of these venues is the Herring Bay Garden and Herrington Yacht Club. Herring Bay Garden is a lovely outdoor space with gardens designed to thrill. This area features exotic and native plants and has been a popular spot for butterflies for years. On top of the garden, you’ll have extraordinary views of the Chesapeake Bay. The garden is right outside of the Herrington Yacht Club. The garden is the venue’s indoor location and features two ballrooms and a large deck. The rooms have neutral paint tones and crystal chandeliers. The windows throughout ensure your guests still get breathtaking views of the outside surroundings.
Nearby is Herrington’s second venue: Polynesian Lawn and Paradise Ballroom. Like Herring Bay Garden, Polynesian Lawn is an outdoor wedding space. Native plants and date palms decorate this area. You’ll also have beautiful views of nearby waterfalls. The Paradise Ballroom is a covered space with a tented roof, French windows, and crystal chandeliers. It is a great alternative location for your wedding if you’d prefer a covered space.
The venue provides a rain plan in the case of inclement weather, so you don’t have to worry about your outside ceremony getting rained out.
