Create Memories At A Picturesque Keswick Vineyards Wedding

Kirby and Trent enjoyed the most beautiful fall wedding day at Keswick Vineyards and said “I Do” in front of their family and friends. A buried bottle of Bourbon on the property ensured plenty of blue sky and sunshine throughout the day and the couple’s Golden Retriever Olive made a guest appearance as part of the cocktail hour decor. Kirby was a vision in her classic gown and lace-trimmed veil, while Trent looked handsome in his black tux. The wedding party echoed the neutral, classic color palette of Kirby and Trent’s day, which was adorned with white roses, white hydrangeas, and plenty of baby’s breath. The couple and their guests partied late into the night under the beautiful glow of the sailcloth tent and ended their celebration with a late night snack of Raising Canes. It truly was an unforgettable day in beautiful Southern Virginia and I look forward to being back again soon. About The Keswick Vineyards Wedding Venue

1575 Keswick Winery Drive, Keswick, Virginia 22947

Keswick Vineyards is a family-owned winery and wedding venue on a sprawling 400-acre property. This space has been at the forefront of American history, serving as a space that welcomed Revolutionary soldiers on their way to tell Governor Thomas Jefferson about the advancing British. Over the years, it has seen some pretty legendary events before it was bought as a winery in 2000. From there, it quickly became a local favorite! While the wines are absolutely divine, it’s the property that sets this spot apart from the rest. With open fields that overlook the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s impossible to get a bad view when you’re here. With all of these accommodations, you will have everything you need for your perfect wedding day!

Details of the Grounds

With Keswick Vineyards, your entire wedding day can take place on the grounds. At the beginning of your rental period, you will be taken to one of the two dressing suites where you will prepare for your wedding. These rooms are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to get ready! The groom suite even has a pool table and tv, as well as a wet bar.

Most ceremonies take place outdoors near the vineyards. The winery gives you total freedom when it comes to finding the best place for this portion of the day. The vines are in perfectly neat rows, giving you a gorgeous and lush backdrop as you exchange your vows. While some people choose to use the grassy area for this portion, others choose to use the dirt path as their aisle. You will also be able to set up a stage if you’d like.

If you would prefer to stick near the manor, you can use the outdoor fountain near the entrance of the house. The water adds a gentle ambiance, while the house will serve as a dreamy backdrop for this portion. Some couples even choose to stand in the midst of the hedges surrounding the fountain and exchange their vows right in front of the water.

For your cocktail hour, your guests can head behind the house to the pool area, or beside it. Here, they can order specialty cocktails that they can enjoy while taking in the surrounding views. They’ll have the chance to tour the grounds while you take your pictures.

Stunning Outdoor Wedding Receptions At Keswick Vineyards

Your wedding celebration will continue with an outdoor tent reception. Covered by a white sailcloth tent, it offers the perfect amount of shade as the sun sets down behind the mountains and protects from spring showers. The grounds are covered with a grass turf that stays evergreen throughout every season. Bistro lights dangle across the roof while wooden beams support the structure. The vineyards will remain in view, though you will have the ability to close the drapes if you would prefer. In this space, your guests will have plenty of room to move around and raise a glass to the next chapter of your love story! Guests will be able to head inside the building that houses the getting ready suites and use any of the amenities throughout the evening. The venue is able to accommodate up to 200 guests.

Photography Opportunities

Keswick Vineyards is one of the most picturesque spots for your wedding day! From wedding party pictures by the pool to romantic portraits between the lush grape vines, there are pretty spots everywhere on the property. The venue lets you wander through the vineyards, taking pictures amongst the rows. During golden hour, the path running through the vineyards is the location with the most beautiful light as the sun sets behind the mountains!

Following your ceremony, you can use the manor as a backdrop for your family portraits or put the mountains in the background. Before you are done with portraits, you will want to get a few pictures right in front of the manor. The house will serve as a regal backdrop as you share a kiss with your beloved. You can take some pictures right in front of the fountain before using the porch steps leading up to the front doors.
